Beru deserves 5 stars for his always friendly attitude towards his customers and this place does too. It's right on the corner, and has an open feel to it as the glass walls are completely pulled away when the weather is good. Nothing fancy, but just about right.
this place kind of reminds me of a miniature version of lei dou just because of the interior decor and romantic feel of the place. they sometimes have some live music and it gives off an old french vibe. we once tried to have a bigger group here .. don't think this is the ideal place for that.
this is a bit off the beaten track on old bailey street, so the fact that they manage to maintain a relatively packed house on many days says something about their reputation. it is more of an upscale place than the other bars and lounges in soho and can sometimes get as packed as a bar in lkf. they've got nice big tables at the back for groups of 10 or so, but get there early if you want one of these.
