great place to come for a drink. they've got a bookshelf and a Globe record chart with entries like fastest wine bottle chug or most bags of potato chips eaten in 3 minutes. lunch is also a very good deal here.
very extensive selection of beers, mostly bottled though. the floor turns into an absolute mess because of peanut shells and the bathrooms stink from miles away (really .. the few times I was there, I turned straight around from the toilets because of the stench). food is decent, they make a good burger.
HOME OF THE WORLD FAMOUS RUSSIAN ICE BAR !! they give you mink coats to wear and stick you inside a freezer where you take shots of vodka while getting harassed by large eastern european men all claiming to be from sibera. a unique hong kong experience, no doubt !
Easy to get into compared to most other club type places in LKF, but for good reason .. the band plays the exact same songs every day way too loudly. Can't really come here to talk, can't really come here to dance, but you can certainly drink.
where can you find a bar in an armani store except hong kong ?? it's a very classy place to go to -- perfect for either a date or an after work drink with coworkers. apparently it also turns into a club at night, but i've never been. conveniently located next to the armani bedding section in case you need to pass out.
This place is open 24/7 and serves up some great deals on American style breakfast food .. the portions are also enormous. I advise against the delivery though .. by the time it reaches you it's not gonna be so good.
Great sushi place on the lower floor and an after work bar on the upper floor. Go around 7pm on any work day and 90% of the patrons would have just come from work.
Went here for New Year’s last year. The place was packed and it was very well done. The ticketing system though was kind of a pain, where you couldn’t actually pay in cash for drinks.
This place is always packed almost every weekday evening. It is the place that expat professionals go right after work to network and chill out for a little while. However, the crowd seems just a little bit too uptight for a place to unwind.
If you like cheesy 80s music and even cheesier 80s videos playing all night, this is the perfect place for you. For me, well, maybe a too few many drunk Brits thinking they are in a karaoke bar.
Great Thai food and very friendly waitstaff. In the summers / when it is slightly warmer, they open up the whole front of the restaurant and this gives it a great vibe. And some very spicy laarb .. just as it should be!
Great hidden gem if you can find it -- quick service and good food...I love this place
Looks like it is straight out of 18th century England! Absolutely great place to take someone to impress them on your knowledge of the tucked away Hong Kong spots, as you could literally walk right by this place 20 times without knowing it was there. However, I have heard some complaints that these guys are a bit .. unequal opportunity in terms of door policy.

This place has some amazing Middle Eastern food and a very classy interior. I love Middle Eastern food -- both healthy and delicious -- and this does the cuisine no disservice. The lunch special is great here too .. much better value on the lunch than Beirut in LKF.
Went to this place on New Year's Eve. Eh .. was okay .. medium quality food + service but the price didn't reflect the mediocrity. Guess it was New Year's ..
Though I don't particularly like this place, I end up eating here a lot because it is just good enough and very easy when I just need a good, quick meal. This place is rarely ever crowded (probably a reflection on the quality of the food), but there are definitely enough choices and the brunch is decent.
I love the food, but it takes SO LONG to make. It is a little too "fast food" to go to dinner there, and it is way too slow to pick up for a quick meal at home. So unfortunately, I end up not going here very much even though I love Mexican food in a city very short of Mexican options.
I am a big fan of hookah and the shisha, and hopefully I'll have reviewed every hookah place in hong kong after a couple months. This one is one of the cosier ones and the manager is great, but for some reason the hookah doesn't hit as nicely as some of the others. However, they do use the authentic style coals over the self lighting ones.
